This info is in the Feb 04 issue of Carboy (Japanese tuner mag): A couple of cars were taken out to Yatabe (a flat section 0-1000m, followed by a banked road, street type roads), where they did a top speed test. This Z did 1/8mi in 8.18s, 1/4mi in 11.96s, 0-1000m in 20.55s, and topped out at 278kph. It was running street tires, on street conditions. Not drag slicks at a drag strip. Most cars with much less hp pick up over a second going to slicks. The 1/8mi time is already a full second slower showing it was traction limited. If I had to bet money between this Z and Chip or Ernest, at a drag strip with similar tires and drivers, I would put it on this Z.
